These are a collection of historical and cultural studies on the city of Damascus and the life of the late Yusuf Ibish. They cover stdies about civil administration, calligraphy, and geography by very prominent scholars and specialists, which the al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation is honoured to dedicate to the memory of the late Yusuf Ibish in recogition of his contribution and excellent work. A great scholar and an active researcher he proved a distiguished academic and lover of music, calligraphy, and Islamic artifacts and fine arts.
