On Wednesday 25th of June 2003, Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation organised at its headquarters in Wimbledon, London, a public lecture entitled "The crusades before Crusades from the 7th to the 11th Centuries: The Holy Land from a Muslim Perspective", delivered by Prof. Irfan Shahid.
