Visit by group of Islamic scholars

On Thursday, 3rd July 2025, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr. Sali Shahsivari, and members of Al-Furqan team, received at the Foundation’s headquarters in London a scientific delegation that included Professor Recep Senturk, the Dean of the College of Islamic Studies at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Qatar; Dr Kasim Kopuz, Assistant Professor at Marmara University; Mr Souhayl Maronesy, Founder of Al-Kalam Institute in the United States; Mr Amir Abu Ghudda, Board Member at the Canada-based Centre for Islamic Knowledge; Mr Mohamud Awil Mohamed, Faculty member at the Centre for Islamic Knowledge; and Mr Hassan Kazi, Executive Director at the Centre for Islamic Knowledge.

The friendly visit included a review of the latest cultural activities organised by Al-Furqan Foundation, the most important future projects, in addition to the latest printed publications. The visiting scholars and Mr Shahsivari discussed potential cooperation between the Foundation and the respective institutions of the guests.

The visiting delegation wished Al-Furqan continued success in its tireless efforts to protect and disseminate Islamic heritage. The delegation also praised the prominent role played by the Foundation, and the valuable publications it provides that contribute to enriching Arab and Islamic libraries.

At the end of the visit, the hosts presented the visiting delegation with symbolic gifts and copies of some of its publications.
