On Wednesday 27 November 2024, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr Sali Shahsivari, accompanied by Mr Mamoon Alabbasi, Al-Furqan staff member in charge of Outreach & Events, welcomed at the Foundation's headquarters in London Dr. Salah Al-Shaab, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Centre for Studies, Research and Heritage Investigation, which is based in Libya. Dr. Al-Shaab was accompanied by Mr Abdul Basit Masoud, researcher on Libyan heritage.
The hosts and guests briefed each other with the projects of their respective institutions. They also discussed prospective ways of cooperation in different fields of mutual interest, most notably the preservation and the study of manuscripts.
At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged publications.
