On Thursday 09 May 2024, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr Sali Shahsivari, accompanied by members of Al-Furqan's working team, welcomed at the Foundation's headquarters in London Dr Mohamed Sheikh Ahmed, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Maqasid Centre for Research and Studies in Somalia, and member of the Somali Parliament. Dr Ahmed was accompanied by Mr Mohamed Hassan, a member of the research team of the Maqasid Centre for Research and Studies in Somalia, and the Centre's representative in Britain.
The hosts and guests briefed each other with the projects of their respective institutions. They agreed to exchange a number of their publications, and discussed prospective ways of cooperation in different fields of mutual interest.
