On Wednesday 1 October 2025, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr. Sali Shahsivari, accompanied by members of Al-Furqan's working team, welcomed at the Foundation's headquarters in London prominent cultural delegations from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation members were representatives of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Committee of Science under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was led by Chief Research Fellow Prof. Gaukhar Barlybayeva, accompanied by Leading Research Fellow Gulnar Nusupova, and Research Fellow Aiman Keldinova.
Also present was Dr. Alma Farmer, a cultural advocate who arranged the meeting between the Kazakh delegation and the Foundation.
The delegation members are currently leading the project "The Turkic-Kazakh Philosophical Tradition: Main Ideas and Priorities in the Process of Transformation of Modern Kazakh Society".
The two sides briefed each other on the work of their respective institutions and discussed the prospects for future cooperation.
