Summary

This catalogue presents the descriptions of 243 manuscripts from the collection of the Cyril National Library in Bulgaria which contains more than 3000 manuscripts in the Arabic language, 500 in the Turkish language and 140 in the Persian language.
The topics included in this volume are creed, jurisprudence, the sciences of Ḥadīth and the science of Qurʾānic interpretation (tafsīr) amongst others.
Also included in the catalogue are colour photographs for a number of rare Islamic manuscripts in the library.
