Summary

This catalogue describes 322 manuscripts which belonged to the ancient al-Fakhrī family from Mosul. The catalogue contains a number of subjects, such as Qurʾān and its sciences, creed, jurisprudence and its sciences, fatwās, inheritance, Ḥadīth and its sciences and grammar.
The library was put together with the contribution of most of the family al-Fakhrī. A collection of several rare manuscripts written by the authors themselves can also be found, which carry the comments of the al-Fakhrī family and show records of their ownership.
