Summary
The third and fourth volumes concerning the library of the Aqṣa Mosque of Jerusalem hold the catalogue of 709 manuscripts that belong to the library of Shaykh Muḥammad al-Khalīlī. The majority of subjects of the catalogue are on the sciences of the Qurʾān, the sciences of Ḥadīth, its terminology, jurisprudence and its origins, the science of the origins of religion (uṣūl al-dīn), Arabic language, history, logic, Sufism and a number of ijāzāt or permissions to teach.
The first volume was printed in Jerusalem in 1980. The second volume was published by the Foundation of Āl al-Bayt in Amman in 1983.
