The New Chairman of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation
We would like to announce that, after the passing of its Founder and Chairman, His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani (may God rest his soul); the Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation has gone through an organisational restructure. This is in order to fulfil the wish and will of Sheikh Yamani to continue the work of the Foundation towards new horizons, in order to achieve its noble scientific mission in serving the Islamic written heritage - especially the manuscript heritage, the heritage of the two holy cities (Makkah al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah), and the heritage of the objectives of Islamic law - which is an important part of the shared human heritage.
In this regard, we are pleased to announce the good news of the appointment of Mr Sharaf Yamani – the son of His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani (may God rest his soul) - as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Furqan Foundation, succeeding his father.
We wish him all the best in carrying out this noble mission; and we ask the almighty God for His blessings and guidance.
