Out of a desire to give young editors the broad cultural and scholarly background, which they often lack, and taking into consideration that the skills involved in editing manuscripts are gradually disappearing, Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation organises special training courses in the sphere of editing Islamic manuscripts, aimed at young scholars, university graduates and librarians who have not been specifically trained in handling and editing manuscripts.
