In his lecture, Professor Mohammad Kamal Imam gave an overview about his book “Bibliography for Maqasid al-Sharia” and its importance as a comprehensive reference guide for all that is written in the field of the purposes of Islamic law from the third century (according to Hijrah) until the present day, including all schools of Islamic thought and jurisprudence. The lecture was delivered on the 8th of February 2010, during the proceedings of the Cairo International Book Fair, in Egypt.
