Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Al-Furqān Islamic Heritage Foundation and the Imam Termizi International Scientific-Research Center in Uzbekistan

On Thursday 10 February 2022, during the visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in London, HE Said Rustamov, accompanied by Dr Shukurillo Umarov, Director of the Imam Termizi International Scientific-Research Center in Uzbekistan, and Mr Barot Amonov, from Imam Bukhari Center in Uzbekistan, as well as Mr Aliyor Tilavov, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in London, at Al-Furqan HQ office in London,  a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the Al-Furqān Islamic Heritage Foundation and the Imam Termizi International Scientific-Research Center in Uzbekistan.

The Memorandum stipulated collaboration and exchange of scientific experiences in the area of preserving Islamic heritage, particularly the written heritage, through cataloguing, critical editing, publishing, researching the means to protect and preserve heritage, and employing all means to raise the level of civilizational awareness of workers in these domains, as well as co-operating jointly in organising conferences, seminars, and training courses in the different fields relating to heritage, and the exchange of various scientific publications; each party also agreed to invite the other to its conferences and seminars.
