On Friday 24 May 2024, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr Sali Shahsivari, accompanied by members of Al-Furqan's working team, welcomed at the Foundation's headquarters in London Mr. Salem Al-Qammoudi, Chairman of Sheikh Taher Al Zawi Charitable Organisation (STACO), which is based in Libya. Mr. Al-Qammoudi was accompanied by Dr Shoukrie Shoukrie, the Programme Manager for STACO.
The hosts and guests briefed each other with the projects of their respective institutions. They agreed to exchange a number of their publications, and discussed prospective ways of cooperation in different fields of mutual interest.
At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged symbolic gifts and books.
