On Tuesday 26 September 2023, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr Sali Shahsivari, accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Drioueche, who is responsible for Projects and Publications at the Foundation, and other members of Al-Furqan's working team, welcomed at the Foundation's headquarters in London Prof. Syed Hussain Murtaza, Chair of Murtazavi Library in Karachi, Pakistan, which has also a branch in Qom, Iran.
The host and guest briefed each other with the projects of their respective institutions. They agreed to exchange a number of their library books, and discussed prospective ways of cooperation in different fields of mutual interest.
At the end of the visit, Al-Furqan’s Managing Director and Murtazavi Library's Chair exchanged symbolic gifts and books, and the occasion was marked by taking photographs.
