On Thursday 13 June 2024, the Managing Director of Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, Mr Sali Shahsivari, and the working team at Al-Furqan, welcomed at the Foundation's headquarters the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in London, HE Mr Ravshan Usmanov, accompanied by the Third Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom, Mr Jasur Valiev.
Mr Usmanov is the third Uzbek Ambassador to visit the headquarters of Al-Furqan. On his part, Mr Shahsivari had participated in a number of cultural events in Uzbekistan, and had visited a number of cultural institutions in Uzbekistan over the past several years, leading to the agreements on cooperation and joint projects.
Mr Shahsivari and Mr Usmanov discussed possible ways to solidify existing cooperation and working on new future projects.
At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged symbolic gifts and books.
